WORLD's HEALTHIEST VARIETY group
Our family is dedicated to eating not only tasty, but also healthy:)
I like to do research of scientific studies on nutritional value of vegetable/herb varities
to find and bring to our garden
the particular cultivars with the
highest AND! most bio-available concentrantions
of specific nutrients that the vegetable is known and grown for.
For example, tomatoes' staple is their
Lycopene content,and,secondly, total Carotenoid content.
- the powerful anti-oxidants with strong rejuvenating and anti-cancer properties.
Among all mini tomato cultivars,
The one with highest Lycopene content and Very high total Carotenoid content
is " Inca Youth Cherry " ( Bicolor Peacevine Cherry ) Red.
The research is done under the kind guidance of my sister-in-law,
who is a nutritional biologist.
She gives me invaluable advise on methods and directions of my research,
as well as explains some of the scientific data
which may be hard for a non-specialist to analyze correctly.
There is a number of different opinions and approaches to this interesting subject,
and of course I have no claims to "the Ultimate Law".
But i try to base my conclusions on the points that most scientists agree upon,
and summing up the scientific data available in the research papers.
